A lot of my favorite colors and forms can be traced to iconic Miami art deco landmarks like the hotels on Ocean Drive. Pastels during day that become vibrant neons as the sun sets behind the ocean. Curved forms of the buildings with fun fonts and kitschy names. They’ve become staples of things associated with my brands identity which is so deeply intertwined with my own.
This skirt is inspired by the fact that these hotels overlook the ocean of Miami Beach, just across the street.
