For this collection, released in April alongside my 30th birthday I wanted to create something that reflects something I’ve been pondering myself- Where does whimsy fit into getting older? I’d like to think it can always be present but we all hear adages like “acting your age” or “dressing your age” but what does that really even mean?
I found myself wondering, can something elegant, artisan, and still carry the play that I find has set my work apart. The child-like awe I feel towards my inspirations. This collection shows a balance between my dreamy inspirations with a more mature lense.
